About Us
Penny Norford and Deb Lugar enjoy collaborating on acrylic paintings. Meeting in 2022, at a bicycling event, they discovered that they have a similar love of the outdoors that inspires their landscape and nature paintings.
In 2023 they first painted collaboratively on several paintings to be given as gifts. These gifts were so well received the two decided to start a painting business and in 2024 Mixing Atoms Studio was created.
In just two years the pair has sold over 30 paintings and as many cards and prints. In addition to recreating local scenes and wildlife they have also enjoyed painting custom art.
